What must a cottage food label show in Florida?
A Florida cottage food label must show these 7 items:
- The name and address of the cottage food operation
- The name of the cottage food product
- The ingredients of the product, in descending order of predominance by weight
- The net weight or net volume of the product
- Allergen information as specified by federal labeling requirements
- If any nutritional claim is made, nutritional information as specified by federal labeling requirements
- The statement, in at least 10-point type in a color that contrasts with the background: "Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations."

Does Florida require a Nutrition Facts panel on cottage food?

What foods can you sell under the Florida cottage food law?

Direct to consumers in person, on the operation's website, and by mail order. Delivery may be in person, to an event venue, or by USPS or a commercial carrier. Wholesale is not allowed.

$250,000 in gross annual sales of cottage food products, counting all locations.
